With over 20 years of experience in mining projects, encompassing feasibility studies, execution, commissioning, and operations, Tony Lima has worked with various commodities, notably iron ore, copper, and gold, owned by both large and medium-sized market enterprises. His expertise lies in roles at Vale during the implementation of the – ´Brucutu iron ore project´ (2005-2006 – commissioning), and Salobo (2007-2008 – contract management). From 2008 to 2023, he was associated with ´Mineração Vale Verde (MVV)´, acted as Project Manager for Aura Minerals for ten years until the sale of the Serrote Project in 2018. Subsequently, he spent five years as the General Manager of MVV before accepting the role of COO at Appian Group Brazil in 2023. Tony studied the Metallurgical Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), he holds an MBA in Project Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. Nevertheless, Tony has a Postgraduate Degree in Mineral Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
