Daise has solid experience in the field of mining tailings dam engineering. Throughout her career, she has worked in operations involving different commodities, including gold, bauxite, copper and nickel. She currently holds the position of Dam Manager, being responsible for operations, projects, construction works, and compliance with legal requirements.

Her experience includes leading implementation projects and overseeing the construction of dams and tailings storage facilities, as well as contributing to technical and strategic decision-making. She works directly at the interface with regulatory agencies, authorities, and communities, coordinating the Emergency Action Plan for Dams (EAP) and developing initiatives focused on accident prevention.

She has a strong commitment to sustainability, structural integrity, and people’s safety, promoting practices that ensure compliance and socio-environmental responsibility.

Daise holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a postgraduate specialization in Geotechnics and Dam Safety.
