João Maia has extensive experience in process engineering and plant operations, working with bauxite, phosphate, and nickel sulfide units. Throughout his career, he has led continuous improvement projects focused on increasing throughput, recovery, and operational stability. He has expertise in initiatives aimed at efficiency in crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, magnetic separation, thickening, and filtration operations. His experience also includes conducting geometallurgical studies at different project stages, contributing to technical and strategic decisions. João Maia holds a degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Ouro Preto School of Mines and a specialization in Project Management.
